I left my ridge-top campsite and continued along the ridge.  I’m still hoping to see where Mav was camped last night.  I passed Surprise Lake (which was indeed a surprise because you wouldn’t think a lake would be up here where it is).

I set up camp near Schultz creek with Cricket and her dog Chip, and shortly after Mr President joined us.  We are camped close together at the edge of a large meadow with a creek nearby. We talked for quite a bit through our tents, and then Cricket and Mr President got into a long discussion.  It was interesting to listen to, but I eventually couldn’t help myself and fell asleep.  I don’t mind being alone but it is nice to camp with friends nearby.
