Day 130 Pinedale Zero

I walked down to the Wrangler Cafe at the far end of town for breakfast this morning. I sat at the small bar and listened to some older ranchers talk to each other about their cows and other local issues. The food was good, but I was happy to get out of there and back into the sunlight. It’s a beautiful day today.

Forest (who runs Gannett Peak Lodge) is a really cool guy.  He let me use a bicycle to ride down to the post office and get some lunch at the Chinese food restaurant.  Afterwards I rode over to Dave’s Last Stand and ate some soft-serve ice cream.

I had a really good burger and fries at the Brewing Company restaurant, although the big empty warehouse decor seemed to magnify my loneliness a bit. But did I mention the burger was good? 🙂
