Mav, Gaucho and I left our camp at Berry Creek and did 22 miles today. It was mostly ridge walking in the forest with lots of great views. Some of it burned in the Goldstone fire last year.
We are camped in a partially burned area just off the trail on top of the ridge between Montana and Idaho, about 3 miles south of Goldstone Pass. It was difficult to find a flat spot without charcoal all over, but this spot isn’t too bad. Kind of nondescript, but it will work. I’m beat. Good night.
